Mike Rego

Mike enjoys photographing landscapes, particularly rural scenes that epitomise the ideal of a natural rural environment, a fantasy of ‘unspoilt’ countryside.  In reality they actually reflect the influence of man slowly being defeated by nature.  Light can transform a scene from reality to this fantasy.  He continually strives to capture the atmosphere of the scene in the ideal memorable light, revisiting certain places many times until he gets that moment in the lens.
